The cold never bothered us anyway! Let's get together and make theatre happen (even in the cold Chicago weather). We recognize that people are still eager for in-person interactions. SO, we've put together some SUPER fun activities that will keep our theatre lovers' hearts warm. Come out and play with us. All events moderated by TWS/CTWS staff.

- When: Saturdays in Jan/Feb at noon
- Cost: Pay what you can/donation only
- Where: Front Porch at TWS. We'll have some coffee and hot cocoa, but bundle up and bring a chair.
- COVID Details: All events will be masked, socially distant and outdoors. Limited to 10 participants max per state guidelines.
- RSVP: Reservations in advanced required. Link. PLEASE delete your reservation if you cannot attend so another participant can have the spot.

Polar Bear Playread - We'll delve into characters and a script together and bring it to life. Discover the magic of hearing a script out loud and work your acting chops.
TWS Actives & CT students 6th grade and up. Approx time length: 2-2.5 hours - Sat, January 23rd
Improv Jam - Let's play some improv games! We'll focus on short form, FUN, fast games with a ton of interaction and reps. No prior experience needed. Come make some stuff up!
CT students 6th grade and up & TWS Actives. Approx time length: 1 hour - Sat, January 30th
Murder Mystery! - Let's solve a mystery together! Participants will be assigned a character and are welcome to come in costume (dress warm!). We'll figure out "who done it" with a series of clues, interactions and investigations.
CT High School Rep. Approx time length: 2-2.5 hours - Sat, February 6th
Polar Bear Playread - Develop your character, cold-reading and script skills by getting a play "on it's feet" with your fellow actors. Let's bring a script to life!

Improv Jam and Theatre Games - TWO exciting events in ONE! Our students 2nd-6th grades will have a blast playing fast-paced interactive acting games, while Jr/HS will have their own improv jam. Let's play!

TWS and CTWS - Sat, February 27th – 6 pm, meet on the front porch
Pixar movie shorts - Movie night! We're gonna watch some of the hilarious, heartwarming and creative short movies from Pixar. Bundle up, bring a chair, blanket or sleeping bag and we'll watch some great storytelling together.
CTWS students K-5th grade. Approx time: 1.5 hours, but feel free to pick up students any time between 6:00-7:30pm. (We recognize some younger students might only last a short time.)
