What Happened After Once Upon a Time

A Substitute narrator is called in on short notice to present stories from a stack of fairy tale books.  But just as each tale begins its "once upon a time," the main characters show up to interrupt and correct the narrator's telling of their story! It's up to the characters to comfort the narrator and explain what really happened after "once upon a time."  Wouldn't you know?  Everyone lived happily ever after, of course!

In this fast-paced comedy, four wealthy couples attend a dinner party that quickly spirals into chaos when they discover their host has shot himself (don't worry, it's only a flesh wound) and his wife is missing!  As the guests try to cover up a situation to avoid scandal, misunderstandings and hilarious lies pile up.  With sharp dialogue and farcical mayhem, the play pokes fun at marriage, friendship, and social status.
