TWS Spring Studio 2026 Information
TWS Studio is a three-week theatre class that covers acting, tech, and the processes for volunteering and performing at TWS.
Actors will start with basic performing concepts such as breathwork, vocal training, and blocking, then dive deep into character work. You will learn how to make strong character choices and apply those skills to a monologue and scene which will be performed in a showcase on the last session. Performers also have the option to sing a solo at the showcase and will rehearse and develop it with our music director throughout the course.
You will also meet experienced members of our technical crews to learn more about the many different areas of production both behind the scenes and front of house. Participants can sign up for any crews they may be interested in joining for future productions.
Anyone NOT interested in acting can still take Studio! You will have a slightly different schedule and will work backstage during the final showcase.

ACTORS – We’d like you to attend all sessions. Sessions 1, 6, 9 and 11 are mandatory. Friday, 4/3, is optional. You can miss up to two of the remaining sessions.

COST
Studio costs $155, which includes a TWS 6-play subscription for next season and a ticket to the last show of the current season, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Upon completion of the class, you will be eligible to be cast in TWS shows.
