Join us for an evening of heartfelt, humorous, and unforgettable true stories under the stars! Inspired by The Moth on NPR, the TWS Story Slam features original stories written and performed by our very own TWS Actives.
This year’s theme is “The Great Escape,” featuring stories by:
⭐ Sandy Grecious
⭐ John Mueller
⭐ Margo Rife
⭐ Janet Venzon
The program is coordinated by Edward M. Pinkowski (TWS Playwrights Workshop Leader) and Greg Kolack (Associate Artistic Director), with support from Carolyn Thomas-Davidoff.
Sound design: John Mueller & Jack Calvert
Cabaret design: Mary O'Dowd
Story Slam founder: Ashley Kennedy
Additional support: Carol Suda & Mark MacLean
🎶 Stick around after the storytelling for a live acoustic set by Jim Gary – both evenings!
The event features cabaret-style patio seating. Tables will be provided; please bring your own chair. You're encouraged to bring food and beverages for a picnic-style evening. Beer, wine, and soft drinks will also be available on-site.
🎟️ Admission is by donation — suggested donation: $10.
