Welcome to Almost, Maine, a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States—it’s almost in Canada. And it almost doesn’t exist. Because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it’s just…Almost.

One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.

ALMOST, MAINE: It’s love. But not quite.

The 2019-20 Directors' Workshop Season is generously sponsored by:
The Hinsdale Shell Food Mart
located at the corner of Ogden Avenue and York Road in Hinsdale.

The Directors’ Workshop is an educational workshop that presents four weekend performances a year in the Cattell Theatre. Ed Wavak is chair of the Directors' Workshop committee and Greg Kolack, TWS Artist-in-Residence, is the Directors' Workshop Mentor.

Chicago's own WGN TV sportscaster is heading back to TWS for another wild and not ready for family time stand-up show.

A sports anchor and reporter, Pat Tomasulo joined WGN-TV in 2005 and quickly became a fan favorite. He is one of the main hosts on the top-rated WGN Morning News, creating signature segments like “The Pat-Down” and “The Voice of Reason.” He’s also an accomplished standup comedian, performing in shows across the country.

Due to popular demand, 7:30 show is sold out and a second show has been added for 10pm.

Mature language, parental discretion is advised.
