As our country remembers the 9/11 tragedy that occurred 25 years ago, we honor the brave First Responders who sacrificed their lives and those who continue to serve our communities. TWS invites you to remember and pay tribute with a staged reading of the critically acclaimed play The Guys.
Based on a true story, the play depicts an emotional conversation between a NYC fire captain who lost most of his men in the attacks and a writer who is helping him with their eulogies. As the two strangers honor the ordinary men who bravely chose duty and sacrifice in their city’s moment of need, they discover the healing power of human connection and hope.
The Guys is a pay what you can event, and we invite all first responders to attend free of charge.
