Stephanie Jost is a music educator, vocal performer, and all-around lover of the arts. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University and went on to receive her Master’s in Vocal Performance from the Chicago Conservatory of Performing Arts. These days, she brings her passion for music to life as the Music Director and private lesson instructor at Roselle Fine Arts Academy. Additionally, you might find her serving wine at Lynfred Winery or bringing her energy into classrooms as a substitute teacher.
During her undergraduate studies, she performed in operas like Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. While earning her master’s degree, she tackled everything from Verdi’s Falstaff to Michael Torke’s Strawberry Fields, Judith Weir’s King Harald’s Saga, and Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims. She has showcased her vocal talent in competitions including Classical Singer, the New York Vocal Competition, and Casa Italia Vocal Competition.
Behind the scenes, Stephanie has served as assistant director for school productions of Annie, High School Musical 1 & 2, The Little Mermaid, Seussical, Grease, and Cinderella. She’s also taken the director’s chair for Beauty & the Beast Jr., Shrek Jr., and Into the Woods Jr. She also had the pleasure of playing flute in the pit for TWS's performances of A Funny Thing... and Frankenstein.
When the spotlight fades, Stephanie loves spending time with her husband, Justyn, and their two fluffy bunnies, Sam and Pebbles, who are undoubtedly the cutest members of the household.
