Jr. High/HS Stage Combat

Step aside, Marvel. In this class, we'll focus on how to perform a fight onstage so that the performers stay safe, but the audience has to come up afterwards and ask "Are you okay?!". Students will be taught a wide range of illusions that can be applied to all kinds of fighting on stage and screen, but with a focus on hand to hand. We will then put together full combat sequences for a final performance. It will be epic.

3rd – 5th Singing: Sing!

Can’t get enough of this movie at home? We can’t either! But don’t worry, this class isn’t run by Buster Moon. Do you love Ash’s hardcore attitude and lyrics? Maybe you’re more of a softy for Johnny’s tunes? Or maybe Gunter’s moves are where it’s at? Whatever floats your boat, you get a taste of everything in this class. This class will focus on basic singing techniques including breathing, pitch, projection & diction. Lots of opportunities to sing in groups, duos/trios and solos.

Skills Focus:
• Rhythm & musicality
• Diction & projection
• Pitch and group blending
• Basic harmonies
