Denise Devlin is thrilled to be back after directing Once Upon a Mattress Jr. during the summer. Denise is a professional musical theatre performer, director and educator. She possesses a BFA in Acting from Northern Kentucky University, a Master of Teaching in Secondary Drama and English from Western Sydney University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Pedagogy from University of Idaho. Her most notable theatre credits are the Australian National tours of Mamma Mia, Kinky Boots and Shrek the Musical. She has worked onboard as a performer at Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruise Line and Disney Cruise Line and is a teaching artist at a number of schools throughout the Chicago suburbs. She is also a freelance director, most recently directing Elf Jr. the Musical, Annie Jr, Jungle Book Kids and Into the Woods Jr. Denise is also a mom to two very creative little girls who love to sing and dance as well!
