The Wizard of Oz Auditions
Here is how to audition.

On the day of your audition:
- Arrive at the Grand Ave Gym located at 4211 Grand Ave, Western Springs, IL 60558. A parent/guardian must come with you to check in and confirm the details on your Audition Form.
- Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes to move in.
- Students will audition together in a group setting. We will sing an ensemble song together, play a group game, and learn a short dance. Then, we'll give students the option to sing a solo if they learned one of the requested solos ahead of time (solos must be prepared and memorized in advance).
After auditions:
- Some students will be asked to come back for a Callback. Callbacks are on Sunday, January 18 from 5pm-7:30pm at the Theatre. At callbacks, we will read scenes from the show and sing additional solos.
- The Cast List will be emailed to all families by Wednesday, January 21 at 8pm.
- The first rehearsal and parent meeting is Saturday, January 24 at 9am.

On the day of your audition:
- Arrive at the Theatre and enter through the Cattell door. Come prepared to confirm the conflicts on your audition form.
- Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes to move in.
- Students will audition together in a group setting. Make sure you are familiar with the script, and any requested materials in the Google Drive folder.
After auditions:
- The Cast and Crew List will be emailed to all families by Friday night at 10pm.
- The first read thru Sunday, January 25 from 5pm-9pm.
