Hard Boiled: A Nursery Crime
Here is how to audition.
A limited number of students can sign up to be a part of the show. Fill out the audition form below. If you get a spot, you will be notified by Thursday. If you get a spot, casting is guaranteed! The audition day is to figure out what role you will get. Only students who ARE NOT in the cast for “Rudolph” are able to audition.

- A limited number of spots are available. Students will be given a spot on a first-come-first served basis.
- Families will be notified by Thursday if you got a spot or not.
- If you cannot attend the audition day, you can send in a video audition. Email the office to coordinate that.
Read the script at home ahead of time to prepare for your audition and get familiar with the characters:

On the day of your audition:
- Arrive at the Theatre of Western Springs and enter through the Cattell Theatre door. A parent/guardian must come with you to check in and confirm the details on your Audition Form.
- Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes to move in.
- Students will audition together in a group setting. They will read scenes from the script together and play some theatre games to help the director cast the show.
After auditions:
- The Cast List will be revealed at our first rehearsal on Wednesday, October 1.
- All students who attend the audition day will be cast in the show.
- Parents are not required to crew, but as volunteer needs arise throughout the semester, we may reach out for help.
- Being cast in Hard Boiled does not count as part of the Crew Clock for our Mainstage shows.
