We know that the world is different now. We also know that kids need creativity, social interaction and to be active with their bodies and minds as well as FUN. Introducing... CT Experience: LIVE! These are small, in-person classes designed to inspire, challenge, and teach your student while remaining safe. Part camp, part class, pure FUN! Note: Due to current social distancing guidelines, we will not be able to present a final performance. However, we will be sending video content to parents at the week's conclusion.

Important Things:

  • Groups are of 10 students max
  • Siblings should be registered together- we recommend placing the older sibling with the younger one

We do our very best to keep parents and caregivers informed and up to date! Here are some ways we stay in touch:

  • Email. We will be sending regular emails throughout the session. We use constant contact, an email server. Please make sure cd@theatrewesternsprings.com is on your SAFE list as otherwise, it may go to spam.
  • Remind App. If you would like text reminders sent to your phone, Click here
  • FB Page. Follow our FB page for reminders and fun behind the scenes pics!
  • Instagram. Ok... more fun than info, but another great place for pics!
  • Students will be sent an instruction/procedure video prior to camp. Students and parents/guardians should watch together.
  • There will be a virtual parent meeting offered at 2:00 pm & 6:00 pm the Sunday prior to the start of the week.
  • Students should bring minimal personal items with them.

  • Due to the incredibly limited number of participants in these classes, no refunds after registration with exception of cancellation or illness.
  • In the event of student/family member illness of any type, the camper will withdraw and receive a pro-rated refund.
  • In the event CTWS cancels for any reason, students will receive a full or prorated refund.
  • Face mask with students name on it (cloth preferred)
  • Minimal personal items
  • Disposable water bottle
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Gym Shoes (or close-toed shoes) No flip-flops.
  • Sunscreen pre-applied
  • Hat or sunglasses (optional)
  • Cell phones must remain in a bag or left at home
  • Excitement for fun!
  • Please inform us of all allergies and medical needs prior to camp.
  • Emergency medication (such as epi-pen or inhaler) may be left with our camp coordinator. Please place it in a zip-lock bag and label it with your child's name.
  • There is no nurse on staff, but teachers are trained in basic First Aid & CPR.
  • Once enrolled, please email us your approved list of pick ups for your child (including family members/parents)
  • Due to social distancing, only staff and students will be allowed in the building.
  • Parents will pull up to their assigned drop off/pick up space.
  • Students and parents remain in the car until the camp coordinator asks student to exit the car.
  • Students go directly to their classroom/outdoor space.
  • Upon pick up, the parent/caregiver should place student(s) name in the passenger window. They will remain in the car.
  • Camp coordinator will check driver's license and pick up list at a social distance. NOTE: anyone picking up students must provide photo ID daily. 
  • Student will be sent up from classroom/outdoor space and enter car.
  • The process will be repeated until all 10 students are picked up.
  • If you want your student to walk/bike home, they must be age 11 by 5/1/2020 and you must provide emailed permission.

Camps are staffed by qualified theatre teachers and high school interns. Every adult is put through an application, interview and background check process. Our teachers have years of training and higher-level education in the arts or education, experience working with children, personal performing credits, and experience with theatrical productions.

Because of social distancing, our staff will be reduced this summer. The staff includes:

  • Camp Coordinator
  • One teacher per class
  • One student teaching aide for 5th grade and under per class
  • Office staff member available on site
