About the Show

Big Brother is watching! Following the 2016 election, the novel 1984 has recently skyrocketed on bestseller lists. Both timeless and currently culturally relevant, 1984 weaves a tale that examines the nature of truth, belief, and values within free thought and expression. The story is set in a dystopian future where critical thought is suppressed by a totalitarian government.  Winston Smith, our window into this world, lives in the machine state of Oceania where he finds himself daydreaming of love and freedom.
