Anna and Beatrice
Anna's mother Beatrice has dementia. In the course of repetitive conversations that Anna tunes out most of the time, Beatrice suddenly reveals a shocking memory that Anna has never heard before. Is it real? Or is it a fabrication from daytime television reality shows her mother believes happened to her? Either way, Anna needs to find an escape from the constant retelling of this disorienting flashback her mother persists is true. Anna insists they act out a time in their own past together when they were happy, safe and sane.
